A community workforce development and partnership program facilitated by TeenBuilding USA
TeenBuilding is excited to introduce our new program for youth between the ages of 12 - 19 years, the Teen Employment Management Program (TEMP).

  • Middle School Age 13 – 14

Financial Literacy Workshops
Most schools do not mandate students complete a personal finance course prior to graduating, nor is it a topic that is frequently discussed in homes. If you want your teen to get a jumpstart on their financial future, learn how to set financial goals, and be in charge of their financial destiny, then TEMP is the program for them.

In today’s world having awareness of financial knowledge is more important than ever.  Although there are plenty of resources out there, it is daunting about where to start or if the information is relevant at this time. This curriculum will provide our teens with the basic knowledge of financial literacy and education that is practical, reliable and relevant to them today.

Topics include:
  • Personal finance: money management and mindset skills
  • How to set financial goals and create a budget
  • Consumer Debt: understand creditworthiness and credit
  • Insurance and investment basics

Students will be able to use these tools to make wise money decisions with confidence and set them on the path to financial success.
